About Us

Brenda McBride and Kristen Boothe are a mother-daughter real estate team specializing in their clients’ needs as they go through all stages of life.

They are native Dallasites who grew up attending Lake Highlands Schools and have lived in the neighborhoods of Lake Highlands, Lakewood, M-Streets, and other areas surrounding White Rock Lake. They have both earned their Historic House Specialist designations through Preservation Dallas.

Being a multigenerational team Kristen and Brenda understand firsthand both the needs of young, growing families as well as individuals and families who are downsizing or simplifying their housing needs. Caring for her aging parents has also opened Brenda’s eyes to this generation’s needs and given her valuable insight into the real estate transitions that happen at this stage of life.

Kristen Boothe

Kristen Boothe is a native Lake Highlands resident who moved away from Dallas only for the time it took to attend and graduate from Texas Tech University. She spent the next seven years teaching at DISD’s Sidney Lanier elementary school, a magnet school for the expressive arts.

In 2008, Kristen decided to apply her passion for real estate, and particularly the renovation of older homes, to a new career. Through several remodeling projects, she found she loved seeing life breathed into older homes. It was this love that directed her to put her energies into the real estate industry.

She also discovered the relationship-building opportunity real estate provided with her mom, Brenda, while assisting with her real estate clients. While working with her mother, she learned that the housing needs of her own generation were significantly different than the needs of her mother’s generation. This led both Kristen and her mother to unite their skills and knowledge to work as a team, forming the McBride Boothe Group.

Since then, Kristen has served clients in the Lake Highlands, White Rock Lake, and East Dallas areas by providing outstanding real estate services, and has coordinated several small renovation projects for her clients to help prepare their homes to be sold.

Kristen earned her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute designation), the highest level of training offered through the National Association of Realtors. She has also attained the Certified Home Marketing Specialist Certification to expand her knowledge base on staging and marketing.

Kristen has a general contractor’s license and managed the renovation of her home kitchen, as well as the renovation of the McBride Boothe office, giving her great insight into the complexity of renovation projects. As a result, she is able to use that experience to help buyers see potential in homes they may otherwise overlook. She is able to help buyers understand the cost of renovation and to connect them with her contacts in the construction industry.

Kristen lives in the Casa Linda Estates neighborhood with her husband and three children. She acts as the Development Chairperson for Casa Linda Lights on the Casa Linda Estates Neighborhood Association Board and volunteers her time at her church, Highland Park United Methodist Church, as well as at her sons’ schools (White Rock Montessori and Sudie Williams TAG Academy).

Brenda McBride

Brenda McBride is a native Lake Highlands resident who attended Lake Highlands schools growing up and currently lives in the White Rock North area. She moved to California in 1974 where she earned her California real estate license and discovered her love for real estate.

After 10 years, Brenda was ready to move back to Texas so she returned to her roots in Lake Highlands. She earned her Masters in Social Work at UT Arlington and then worked as a counselor for almost 20 years before deciding she would like to practice real estate in the Dallas area. After becoming licensed as a realtor in Texas in 2002, Brenda worked under Ebby Halliday for 7 years where she reached top producer status.

Brenda’s transfer to MD Rose Realty brought new and exciting ventures including the creation of the McBride Boothe Group.
